LAGOS, NIGERIA — Style House Files (SHF) is pleased to announce the 2026 edition of Woven Threads, featuring the theme: “CRAFTED.” Taking place from April 9th to 12th, the platform will bring together designers and innovators to explore practical, locally rooted pathways toward a more sustainable fashion ecosystem.

Since its inception, Woven Threads has convened hundreds of designers, innovators, and industry stakeholders to advance circularity, sustainability, and responsible production across Africa’s fashion and textile value chains. The platform continues to sit at the center of conversations on craft, materiality, and systems-led thinking shaping the future of fashion on the continent. The 2026 platform approaches sustainability as a lived practice embedded in material knowledge, community-based production, and adaptive reuse. Craft is positioned not as heritage alone, but as an active framework informing how fashion is made, scaled, and sustained across the continent. Woven Threads will unfold as a curated, design-led environment comprising:
  • An Exhibition: Showcasing the continent’s finest circular designers and innovators.
  • A Knowledge Exchange: Facilitating dialogues on material intelligence and systems-led thinking.
  • A Marketplace: Connecting craft-focused businesses, textile entrepreneurs, and accessories brands with global partners.
  • The Showcase: Positioning Africa as a site of knowledge and solutions where traditional practices and modern ideas converge.
Together, these elements reinforce Woven Threads’ role as both a cultural platform and an industry-facing convening space within Lagos Fashion Week’s broader ecosystem. Event Details: Date: 9th – 12th April, 2026 Theme: CRAFTED
