Lagos Fashion Week x Bicester Collection Breakfast
The Bicester Collection hosted a breakfast at Capital Club, bringing together key opinion leaders across various sectors. Guests engaged in conversations about the importance of cross-cultural connections.

Roundtable discussion with Holland Circular Hotspot: Building a resilient fashion ecosystem: A Nigeria- Netherland exchange programme for Circular Fashion.
Led by Stephanie Schuitemaker, Head of Communications and Partnerships at Holland Circular Hotspot, and Dr. Muyiwa Gbadegesin, CEO of Lagos Waste Management Authority, this session focused on circular fashion’s potential in Nigeria and the Netherlands. Discussions centered on waste management policies, data-driven recycling, and the shared responsibility of brands, consumers, and policymakers in fostering a circular economy in fashion.
The day also featured a workshop on sustainable business practices led by the Circular Business Platform and the Kingdom of Netherlands. This session highlighted opportunities for Nigerian and Dutch organizations to collaborate, offering insights into circular solutions that can support a resilient textile and apparel industry. Participants engaged in practical sessions focused on the skills and strategies needed to build a sustainable future.

Imad Eduso
Imad Eduso’s return to Lagos FW with the “Laba Laba” collection didn’t disappoint. Bold colors, butterfly-shaped embellishments, and a diverse lineup of models captured the brand’s commitment to inclusive and contemporary fashion. Each piece echoed the theme of love and individuality that Eduso has been building on.
MALIKO
MALIKO’s Spring/Summer 25 collection hit the right notes for fans of understated luxury. Known for their bags and shoes, MALIKO stayed true to their craft with a clean, sophisticated presentation that let the accessories shine. Pieces had an artisanal finish and showed the brand’s talent for blending Nigerian heritage with modern design.
LagosFW XRetail: Ibilola Ogundipe
Ibilola Ogundipe’s “Velour Reverie” brought a polished look with rich purple shades and sequins. The collection was about making a statement with color and texture, pushing familiar materials into more dramatic shapes that played well under the runway lights.
LagosFW XRetail: For Style Sake (FSS)
For Style Sake presented pieces made from Adire and Aso Oke fabrics. The brand used bold prints and bright colors, representing Nigerian identity through its traditional textiles with a contemporary twist.
Dust of The Earth
Dust of The Earth’s “Bi Baami” (Like My Father) collection brought a strong sense of Nigerian tradition with clothes crafted by local artisans. Using techniques like woven threads and shoelace detailing, the collection leaned into heritage while keeping sustainability front and center.
LagosFW XRetail: M.O.T
MOT’s “Deep Threads” kept things functional yet stylish, blending materials like denim and Aso Oke to create ready-to-wear looks with an African touch. MOT’s pieces highlighted the strength of Nigerian craftsmanship with accessible, everyday appeal.
Oshobor
Oshobor’s “Edo Odion” drew from Edo culture, sticking to a palette of reds and paying homage to tradition. Each piece brought together storytelling and craftsmanship, referencing both emotional depth and Nigerian heritage in each design.
Ugo Monye
Closing out the evening, Ugo Monye’s collection brought a powerful display of agbadas on both male and female models. Davido’s appearance on the runway was a welcome surprise. As always, the collection showcased a modern twist to Monye’s classic yet creative take on traditional attire.
