Lagos Leather Fair launches awards to celebrate excellence and innovation in the leather industry

In a bid to recognize excellence and innovation in the leather industry, the Lagos Leather Fair (LLF), a platform dedicated to showcasing leather designers and the immense potential of the leather industry in Nigeria and Africa, proudly announces the launch of its award ceremony as part of the 2024 edition of the annual Fair.

This year’s theme, “Leveling Up,” aims to elevate the leather ecosystem, improve supply chain efficiency, and expand market reach. It reflects the industry’s commitment to enhancing product quality, design innovation, and sustainability, positioning African leather businesses to compete globally.

For six years, the Lagos Leather Fair has significantly influenced the Nigerian leather industry, impacting both local and global markets. The LLF Award is an initiative that celebrates creativity, excellence, and innovation while recognizing trailblazers and outstanding brands within Nigeria’s Leather Industry.

The seventh edition of the LLF features an award ceremony which will cater to certain categories such as:

LLF Most Innovative Designer Award: This award recognizes designers who have showcased exceptional creativity and innovativeness in the design of their leather products.

LLF Trailblazer Award: This award honours leather designers who have made significant contributions to the leather industry through groundbreaking and innovative ideas.

LLF Brand Excellence Award: This award acknowledges brands that have demonstrated excellence in their products, services, and overall brand experience within the leather space.

LLF Best Booth Design: This award recognizes the brand with the most thoughtfully designed and beautifully decorated booth at the Fair.

LLF Best Curated Instagram Page: This award recognises the leather designer with the most visually appealing and engaging Instagram page, and celebrates the brand’s ability to effectively utilize social media to build its brand identity.

LLF Best New Brand Award: This award honours the most promising and innovative new brandattheFair.

The Lagos Leather Fair 2024 is scheduled for June 29th and 30th at the Balmoral Convention Centre, Victoria Island, with the Awards Ceremony taking place on Sunday, the 30th of June at 06:30pm. In addition to the awards, the fair will feature masterclasses, runway shows, pitch session and workshops, providing an exciting platform for learning, networking, and growth.
