Fashion in Lagos has never asked to be understood and Lagos Fashion Series is where fashion becomes language. A space where designers are presenting garments by translating identity, heritage, and forward-thinking ideas into visual narratives. Through careful curation, intentional styling, and powerful imagery, the platform documents a version of Lagos that is both grounded and global;rooted in its origin, yet expansive in its reach.
At the heart of this expression are the designers;each bringing a distinct voice, yet all connected by a shared commitment to storytelling.

We are a Nigerian origin design label exploring with a focus on form, texture, and storytelling;
often drawing from elevated handcrafted processes and modern cross-cultural silhouettes.

We are building a globally respected African origin luxury house that exports not only garments but perspective, heritage, and innovation.
The BAKO Distressed Jacket paired with Scallop Pants draws from the raw beauty of the tropical forest. The jacket is crafted from a richly textured woven fabric, intentionally distressed with fraying edges and irregular finishes to mimic the weathered, fraying leaves found deep within the dense habitat of the black leopard. Its relaxed silhouette is defined by raw, evolving trims that emphasize movement, tactility, and controlled imperfection.
The scallop pants are hand-manipulated to echo the natural swoop and rhythm of elongated forest leaves; cut with a fluid, voluminous form that gathers and drapes from side to side, reinforcing the organic motion and quiet strength embedded in the look.

The dress is a combination of silver leather and sparkling sequins blended perfectly to give a single-fabric illusion with slightly exaggerated hips for the balance of the leather fabric.
It is a piece that thrives in motion;where light, structure, and presence come together to create something that feels both deliberate and instinctive. A reminder that fashion can be both reflective and forward-facing at the same time.

The 4-State Garment System features a deep V-neck tailored blazer and wide-leg panelled velvet layered trousers. Designed with an architectural silhouette and finished with a royal motif hand-painted macramé detail.
