Eight Distinct Voices Take the Runway at the Flair Fashion: IGNITE Collective SS27 Catwalk
Flair Fashion returns to London Fashion Week with a striking showcase of eight emerging designers redefining the boundaries of contemporary fashion. Taking place on 19 September 2026 the runway brings together a compelling new generation of creative voices from across the globe, spanning technology, sustainability and subcultural expression. More than a catwalk, the showcase is a celebration of craft and creative independence, placing the designers firmly at the heart of an evolving fashion landscape. This season, Flair Fashion continues to challenge the traditional fashion model, creating a progressive platform where concept becomes creation and emerging talent is given the space, visibility and infrastructure to shape what comes next.
GASHANI COUTURE

Supported by Grow Kosovo
Made in Kosovo and created for generations, couture house Gashani transforms emotion, nature and the poetry of the natural world into meticulously crafted form. Rooted in patience, intention and exceptional craftsmanship, the house creates garments designed to evoke feeling and endure beyond the moment.
For Spring/Summer 2027 The Golden Hour unfolds as a journey between earth and sky, tracing transformation through roots, wings, sunlight, water and movement. Sculpted corsetry, delicate beadwork and handmade roots give way to butterfly-inspired silhouettes, blooming golden petals and fluid oceanic forms, before culminating in a weightless chiffon gown painted in the colours of the golden-hour horizon.
From the grounding force of the earth to the freedom of the sky, Gashani’s latest collection captures a moment where nature, light and couture become one.
QUAREZ
IG: @qu4rez
Quarez approaches fashion as a form of expression rather than a conventional brand, using clothing to give shape to ideas through an instinctive play with fabric and form. The designer draws deeply from childhood: its vivid imagination, vulnerability and sense of freedom, transforming memories of colours, prints and familiar silhouettes into something surreal and unexpected.
Rooted in a conscious approach to making, Quarez works extensively with pre-existing materials, allowing limitation and reuse to become catalysts for creativity. For this season’s collection, clothing becomes a sanctuary for the deeply shy child. Exaggerated proportions, protective silhouettes and distorted forms create a wearable shell; inviting the wearer to hide, transform or disappear, while exploring femininity through a lens of awkwardness and childlike imagination. Somewhere between reality and fantasy, the collection considers clothing as both protection and liberation: a space to conceal what is vulnerable, while revealing what might otherwise remain hidden.
BERTH

WEBSITE: https://www.berth.hk/
Founded in 2014 by fashion designer Afa Tsang, UK-based Berth brings a distinctive modern-vintage sensibility to womenswear, menswear, kidswear and accessories. Combining sculptural silhouettes, geometric forms, bold colour blocking and Art Deco influences with unexpected textiles and original prints. The brand’s eclectic design language is rooted in a dialogue between nostalgia and contemporary expression.
For the SS27 collection, Gathering Of Dreamers, Berth turns to the free-spirited energy of the 1970s hippie and bohemian movement, celebrating individuality, spontaneity and the freedom to dream. Layered silhouettes, rich textures, diverse fabric combinations and cascading fringes bring a sense of movement and liberation, while dream-catcher motifs, floral elements, embroidery and ethnic-inspired patterns evoke the era’s romantic spirit.
At its heart, the collection is a celebration of connection, joy and the beauty of embracing one’s individuality.
VELESPACE X THE KONG IS DEAD
IG: @velespace_official x @the.kong.is.dead
WEBSITE: https://vele.space x thekongisdead.com
VELESPACE and The Kong is Dead come together in a meeting of expressive technology and post-streetwear, uniting two emerging London voices around a shared desire to challenge what fashion can be.
At London Fashion Week 2027 Spring/Summer, Velespace introduces its Tech Charm for the first time through debut collection SPHERE 01, while The Kong Is Dead presents Wounds In Blue, the label’s second consecutive appearance on the LFW schedule.
Wounds In Blue takes its cue from Lucio Fontana’s radical approach to cutting through the canvas, translating that gesture into fabric. Across the collection, the first layer of every garment is treated as something to cut into rather than something final: a logo branded straight through the back of one look, denim is opened to expose red fabric beneath it, paint merging with a full denim set. Nothing here is finished in the traditional sense, every piece stays slightly open.
VELESPACE extends that same instinct into the digital realm. SPHERE 01’s circular display turns still and moving imagery into part of the look itself, shifting from one moment to the next and adding a layer of movement, contrast and expression that changes as the wearer does. Together, VELESPACE and The Kong is Dead explore surface and depth, material and digital expression, and what happens when fashion is allowed to move beyond a fixed form.
UNE ENFANT
WEBSITE: uneenfant.com
Founded in London in 2025, womenswear label Une Enfant takes a fresh, imaginative approach to fashion, drawing on the dialogue between memory and imagination to create garments shaped by feeling and lived experience.Inspired by the architecture and visual culture of the early 2000s, the brand’s latest collection revisits the era’s optimism and futuristic vision through a contemporary lens. Clean silhouettes, subtle futuristic details and a cool urban palette form a wardrobe that feels both familiar and forward-looking. Rather than treating the past as nostalgia, Une Enfant explores how its imagined future continues to exist in the present, translating memories into garments that become a visual language for the past, present and future.
EL KHEMIE
Supported by Design Singapore Council
IG: @elkhemie
WEBSITE: elkhemie.com
Rooted in the ancient pursuit of alchemy and the mythical search for El Dorado, emerging fashion laboratory El Khemie transforms the intensity of Singapore’s corporate culture into a space for experimentation, wonder and escape. Founded by architect Kassandra upon her return to the corporate world, the label creates anti-corporate meditations around the body, liberating workwear silhouettes from the confines of the city while reimagining the colour residues of the places we inhabit.
For its latest collection, Department of Nocturnal Affairs, El Khemie follows a caffeine-intoxicated worker from midnight towards an awakening dawn, unfolding across six acts inspired by Singaporean rituals of coffee and tea. Black tea, chamomile and Peranakan butterfly pea tea are hand-extracted and layered into silk organza, gradually transforming into botanical greens and earthen shadows against corporate navy suiting.
The result is a poetic social commentary on work culture; and an invitation to wander, wonder and dream before the sun rises again.
PSY LAU
IG: @psylau.hk
Psy Lau is a Hong Kong-based streetwear brand known for tailor-made limited jackets, shirts, and shorts that carry unique personal stories. The designer emphasises exploring sustainable solutions in fashion, celebrating oddness and imperfection while seeking to change consumption patterns and reduce environmental impact.
Psy Lau’s SS27 collection is titled ‘The Art of Letting Go’; in the fast-paced cycle of fashion and life, we often measure growth by what we accumulate – more garments, more accolades, more connections. However, this collection takes a radical detour, drawing its deepest inspiration from the Japanese philosophy of Danshari (斷捨離): the art of decluttering, letting go, and reclaiming one’s space.
This seasonal narrative goes far beyond the physical closet. It serves as a gentle yet poignant metaphor for our emotional landscapes. As we grow, we come to a painful yet liberating realization: even the people we have known for lifetimes, friends who have walked alongside us through changing seasons, may one day choose a different path. Human connections, much like fashion trends, have their own natural life cycles. People drift. Bonds fray. Paths diverge. Recognising that someone has been in your life for a long time does not mean they are meant to stay forever—and acknowledging this truth is not a failure, but a form of grace. The SS27 silhouettes reflect this emotional transition.
TRASHY PLANETS
IG: @trashyplanets
London-based independent fashion and costume house Trashy Planets, founded by self-taught designer and showgirl Bambi Blue, creates unapologetically theatrical, handcrafted pieces where couture meets spectacle. Rooted in theatre, subculture and the transformative power of costume, each one-of-a-kind creation is made by hand, blending traditional costume-making techniques with sculptural silhouettes, intricate embellishment and an instinct for the unexpected.
This season, Ashes To Ashes explores regality, mythology and rebirth, drawing on ancient royalty and mythical symbolism to create a world where beauty rises from destruction. Dramatic forms, rich embellishment and feathered details evoke ceremony and otherworldly opulence, capturing Trashy Planets’ enduring fascination with transformation, and its belief in turning the discarded into something magnificent.
Together, the eight brands create a runway that moves beyond a single aesthetic, from wearable technology and post-streetwear to couture, costume, nostalgia and conscious design.
Eight brands. Eight perspectives. One Flair Fashion runway.
