BEYOND LIMITS Brings Polish Fashion and Jewellery Visionaries to London Fashion Week

BEYOND LIMITS brings twelve of Poland’s most distinctive fashion and jewellery talents to London Fashion Week, presenting a new generation of creators redefining contemporary design through craftsmanship, experimentation and individual expression.

Taking place from 19th to 21st September as part of the official Fashion Scout London Fashion Week programme, BEYOND LIMITS unites eight fashion designers and four jewellery designers in a three-day international showcase. The project highlights the strength of Poland’s creative scene, positioning Polish fashion and jewellery within a wider global conversation about the future of design.

United not by one shared aesthetic, but by a bold and uncompromising approach to creativity, the designers featured in BEYOND LIMITS explore the space where fashion moves beyond function and becomes a form of artistic expression, cultural identity and craftsmanship.

The showcase examines the dialogue between tradition and innovation, heritage and experimentation, and handmade detail and contemporary design. Together, the twelve designers offer a multifaceted view of modern Polish creativity, demonstrating the ambition, individuality and international relevance of Poland’s fashion and jewellery scene.

The three-day exhibition opens with an exclusive drinks reception on **19th September**, celebrating the launch of BEYOND LIMITS and the breadth of contemporary Polish fashion and design.

Hubert Pelc

A graduate of the Department of Fashion at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. Hubert Pelc approaches fashion as artistic expression, exploring identity and belonging through a dialogue between tradition and experimentation. His fascination with the dynamics between urban and rural environments along with challenging conventional beauty are the inspirations to his ‘Folk Is My Second Favorite F Word’ collection.

Martyna Konieczny

Fashion designer behind independent label No Przesada, Martyna Konieczny, a graduate from the Academy of Fine Arts in Łódź, draws inspiration from Polish folklore, transforming traditional motifs into bold, unconventional forms that escape established design narratives. The collection draws inspiration from traditional ceremonial dress worn in rural Poland, the heritage of the Podkarpacie region and the designer’s personal experiences.

Robert Czerwik

Robert Czerwik, a graduate of the Jacek Malczewski Second School of Fine arts in Czestochowa and the Wladyslaw Strzeminski Academy of fine arts in lodz. The collection is a combination of fashion. Sculpture and contemporary art. His work utilised materials of their own histories, canvases, lace and wood reused, drawing clothing a medium of storytelling and heritage.

RAD DUET

Rad Duet is a label inspired by polish culture, identity and craftsmanship. The collection Kachna is inspired by the culture, identity and craft of the Podhale Highlanders of southern Poland. The natural motifs of protected flora and fauna native to the podhale region have been transformed into embroidery, woven textiles, prints, jewellery, buttons and decorative details to create the contemporary interpretation of the podhales heritage.

Katarzyna Konieczka

Katarzyna Konieczka, a graduate from the international school of costume design and fashion in Warsaw, is known for creating sculptural, handcrafted wearable art that merges fashion, craftsmanship and contemporary art. The collection presented in the exhibition is a selection of costumes created over the years of collaboration with international artists and editorial productions, including the likes of Madonna. The collection is inspired from biological forms, human anatomy and organic structures, using industrial components, metal, leather and textiles to create compositions that evoke the appearance of living organisms.

Michał Szulc

Michal Szulc, who served as the Head of the Institute of Clothing and the Academy of Fine arts in Lodz from 2020-2024 and is also the lead on the Beyond Limits showroom design, has a long history of supporting and sculpting young creatives of Poland. His collection ‘Goodboy’ is inspired by one of Polands’ largest cities, using complex web of details over simple pieces, creating hand-glued, hand-stitched designs of natural leather, appliques and multi element printed patterns. The designer has developed a distinctive practice centred on transforming leather into a contemporary streetwear language while embracing deadstock materials as a conscious design strategy.

 

KARDASJAN

Kardasjans’ collection, Casimir & the first gay out in a family, is a fusion of heritage, memory of his grandparents lifelong work and contemporary design, where workwear forms and inherited garments become a starting point for an individual language of fashion. The collection combines elements of workwear with forms derived from the clothing patterns his grandparents left behind. Themes of sensuality, masculinity, and the body are explored, challenging the conventional perceptions of menswear through a bold and provocative visual language.

Tomasz Armada

Armadas’ practice combines fashion, theatre, performance and contemporary art. His design form is rooted in Polish textile heritage, avant-garde traditions, the multicultural history of Lodz and the need to tell new stories about identity. This collection continues his work in drawing inspiration from Polish culture and identity codes; he transforms recycled materials into expressive narratives that question notions of tradition, value, and national identity.

JEWELLERY

Radek Anais Laró

At the intersection of fashion, sculpture, contemporary art and performance, the designer combines traditional goldsmithing techniques with an experimental approach to one-of-a-kind jewellery. The creations function as a deeply personal manifesto, often using the body as a canvas to explore identity, history, violence, gender, freedom and memory.

Rzucidło

The contemporary jewellery brand reinterprets tribal and ethnic jewellery traditions through a contemporary lens, with music and subculture forming central sources of inspiration. Each object is filled with craftsmanship, culture and the designer’s personal interests. A distinctive feature of Rzucidlo’s work is the use of turquoise, coral and hand-carved bone elements.

Anna Samków

Anna Samków creates personalised miniature works of art using precious metals, gemstones and organic materials. Her jewellery is characterised by irregular textures, raw surfaces and unexpected forms. In order to achieve the desired textures and structures, she often incorporates organic material such as flower petals, moss, ferns and leaves to create a sense of closeness to nature. Each piece stands out, not only for its originality and beauty, but for its attributed energetic qualities.

Stettin Jewellery

The Polish–Australian duo Patrycja Bołzan and Karlo Szczepaniak combine traditional goldsmithing with experimentation, creating bespoke, handcrafted pieces in their own studio. Their primary source of inspiration is from vintage jewellery and a significant influence is through the legacy of policy jewellery cooperatives active during the 1970s and ‘80s, including Orno, Warmet and Rytosztuka. Stone and pearl settings play an essential role in their work.
