FashionEVO Opens Applications for Designers Across Africa for Zambia 2026 Edition
FashionEVO has officially opened applications for designers interested in participating in the FashionEVO Summit & Show Zambia 2026, taking place on July 2 to 3, 2026 in Lusaka, Zambia, as part of the broader Africa Creative Market (ACM). The Zambia edition marks a significant expansion of FashionEVO’s pan-African vision, bringing together designers, brands, industry leaders, buyers, policymakers, and creative stakeholders within a platform designed to advance African fashion through visibility, commerce, collaboration, and market access.
Under the theme “Creative Convergence: Where Creativity, Technology and Collaboration Harness Global Greatness,” FashionEVO Zambia 2026 is inviting designers across Africa to apply for consideration to showcase their collections at one of the continent’s most strategically positioned fashion convenings. The FashionEVO Fashion Show & Awards will take place on July 3, 2026, at Polo B, Lusaka Showgrounds, as part of the Kwimbo National Arts Festival, creating a high-visibility platform for designers to present their work within a wider creative, cultural, and commercial ecosystem.
FashionEVO continues to position itself as more than a showcase platform, building a structured fashion ecosystem that connects creativity with business, innovation, and global relevance. The Zambia edition will feature a curated selection of designers who reflect strong creative identity, craftsmanship, cultural storytelling, and market readiness. In addition to the runway showcase, participating designers will gain access to a wider network of industry stakeholders, media visibility, and opportunities within the FashionEVO Pop-Up Boutique Experience.
Speaking on the call for applications, Dr. Yetty Ogunnubi, Founder of FashionEVO, said: “FashionEVO was created to provide African designers with more than visibility. Fashion designers interested in participating are encouraged to submit their applications through the FashionEVO website. Applications will be reviewed by the curation team, and only selected designers will be contacted with next steps. FashionEVO advises all interested brands to apply early, as spaces are limited and participation will be curated to ensure a high-quality and balanced showcase.
FashionEVO Summit & Show Zambia 2026 is presented in collaboration with the Ministry of Youth, Sport and Arts Zambia, the Creative Industry Business Summit (CIBS), and the Kwimbo National Arts Festival. The event is expected to attract designers, buyers, retailers, media, institutions, cultural stakeholders, and global partners from across Africa and beyond, further positioning Lusaka as an emerging hub for creative industry exchange and cultural commerce.
