GARBE CELEBRATES INDIVIDUALITY WITH BOLD, VIBRANT SS27 COLLECTION AT LAGOS FASHION WEEK 2026

Fresh on the heels of Lagos Fashion Week, contemporary sustainable brand Garbe, led by creative director Bella Adeleke, cemented its position as a thrilling voice in African fashion. Debuting its Spring/Summer 2027 collection, “Ojulorowa,” Garbe brought bold expression to the runway through vibrant prints, striking colour combinations, and playful silhouettes, delivering a collection that celebrated individuality and confident style.

With high-octane energy and in infectious showcase, Gabre,  known for its deep commitment to eco-conscious fashion and use of upcycled materials, lit up the runway with flowing multi-colored long-sleeve prints and unexpected earthy textures, seamlessly bridging avant-garde design with wearable, statement-making luxury.

From structured cowrie-embellished trench dresses to effortlessly fluid separates, Adeleke’s design language for SS27 was entirely uninhibited. By pairing daring color contrasts with joyful, architectural tailoring, Garbe offered a powerful meditation on negotiation and identity—proving that sustainable fashion can be both profoundly rooted in heritage and unapologetically loud, modern, and fun.
