Joy Ebere Ekekwe Wins Miss Tourism Nigeria 2023
Joy Ebere Ekekwe has been crowned Miss Tourism Nigeria 2023 after a fierce competition that took place at Rushing Tap Studios in Lekki. The 26-year-old financial consultant and business owner emerged victorious among more than 300 beauty queens who participated in this year’s event.
Unlike previous editions, the judging criteria for the 11th season focused on various aspects of the contestants’ lives, including their culinary skills, physical fitness, and knowledge of Nigeria’s diverse cultures.
As the winner, Joy Ebere Ekekwe will represent Nigeria at the upcoming Miss World Tourism competition, scheduled to take place in Colombo, Sri Lanka, from July 20th to July 30th. The runners-up of the event, Somtochukwu Maduagwu, Sophia Adaeze, and Loveth Oyetunji, will represent Nigeria in other international pageants held in China, India, and Africa, respectively.
