Meet Our Speakers
Damilola Ademilokun
Damilola Ademilokun; Founder of Obsidian Advisory Africa and The Bridge Institute. With over 15 years of experience in fashion workforce development and business strategy, she pioneered Nigeria and Africa’s first Fashion Job Fair, as well as the continent’s first Fashion Job Center.
Dr Yetty Ogunnubi
Dr. Yetty Ogunnubi is a business development and communications expert with over 20 years’ experience. She is the Chief Executive Officer of YD Company, an award-winning public relations and brand management firm, and the Founder/Creative Director of FashionEVO, an influential platform that spotlights the intersection of African and global lifestyle, fashion, culture, art, technology, and beauty.
Ebuka Ikebuaku
Ebuka Ikebuaku; self-taught Nigerian fashion and costume designer, and Founder of Ohlanna bu Zikora. Since winning the Heineken Design Fashion Africa Showcase in 2021, he has built a distinctive design identity rooted in Igbo history and contemporary fashion, with additional costume design credits in Nollywood.
Emmanuel Tarfa
Emmanuel Tarfa; management consultant, business strategist, and Co-Founder and CEO of Kryptr, a talent development platform helping organisations identify people based on demonstrated competence rather than credentials.
Vanessa Tarumbidzwa
Vanessa Tarumbidzwa is a Zimbabwean fashion designer and creative researcher based in Milan, Italy. A Polimoda graduate, her work explores African identity and cultural heritage through contemporary design. In 2026, she founded Ohnav Atelier, championing African creative talent and sustainable fashion.
Boye Asenuga
Boye Asenuga is a lawyer-turned-fashion entrepreneur with 20+ years in the industry. Founder and Creative Director of ChicNiCity—a globally inspired womenswear brand blending heritage inspired prints and colors with modern silhouettes, including an exclusive collection for HSN.
