Stella McCartney has launched her Winter 2023 campaign, celebrating the profound connection between humans and horses. The campaign features Kendall Jenner, shot by Harley Weir at France’s Camargue Salt Flats, surrounded by the iconic white ponies of the region, curated by horse whisperer Jean-Francois Pignon. This campaign effortlessly complements the collection’s runway presentation.

Themed ‘Horse Power,’ the campaign aligns with the collection’s narrative, delving into the intimate bond shared between people and horses. Unveiled during Paris Fashion Week, the campaign draws from Stella McCartney’s personal relationships, artistic expressions, historical references, and contemporary influences.

Stella McCartney emphasized, “The Stella girl of this season had to share my love for horses. Kendall, an experienced equestrian with her own ranch, truly embodies this affinity.” The resonance between Kendall and Pignon’s ponies encapsulates the equestrian essence beautifully. The collection showcases fine rope details, lavish quilting, and compelling Appaloosa jacquards.

Sustainability is the major theme with innovative materials such as vegan crocodile-effect bags crafted from apple waste, and riding boots made from grape waste. Accessories made from mycelium fungi and Mirum highlight Stella McCartney’s commitment to sustainable fashion. Impressively, the collection consists of 92 percent conscious materials, underscoring the brand’s dedication to responsible practices.
