BEYOND LIMITS: POLISH VISIONARIES COME TO LONDON FASHION WEEK
Twelve distinctive voices redefining fashion, jewellery and contemporary design
This September, BEYOND LIMITS brings together twelve of Poland’s most distinctive fashion and jewellery talents in London, presenting a new generation of creators whose work challenges convention, crosses creative disciplines and expands the boundaries of contemporary design. It demonstrates the strength of a Polish creative scene that is increasingly ambitious and outward-looking.
Taking place over three days (19th – 21st September) as part of the official Fashion Scout London Fashion Week programme, BEYOND LIMITS brings together eight fashion designers and four jewellery designers in a single international showcase. United not by a single aesthetic, but by an uncompromising approach to creativity,
craftsmanship and individual expression, the group represents a multifaceted view of contemporary Polish design.
The project explores the point at which fashion moves beyond its utilitarian function and becomes a vehicle for artistic expression, cultural identity and exceptional craftsmanship. The designers explore the dialogue between tradition and innovation, heritage and experimentation, craftsmanship and contemporary design. BEYOND LIMITS is here to position Polish talent within an international conversation about the future of fashion and design.
The three-day exhibition opens with an exclusive drinks reception on 19th September to mark the launch of BEYOND LIMITS and celebrate the breadth of contemporary Polish fashion and design.
