FASHION SCOUT PRESENTS ONES TO WATCH EDITION 01: DISCOVERING THE NAMES THAT COME NEXT
Fashion Scout marks its 20th anniversary this London Fashion Week with its biggest emerging-talent programme to date, placing a new generation of designers at the heart of its landmark September season.
Across three Ones To Watch catwalks, the largest edition in Fashion Scout’s history, the programme brings together emerging UK and international designers working across contemporary menswear and womenswear, textile innovation, traditional craftsmanship, digital technologies and cultural storytelling.
OTW Edition 01 presents eight designers whose practices move from sculptural couture and British tailoring to 3D fabrication, woven textiles, cultural identity and the relationship between fashion and art.
For two decades, Ones To Watch has been central to Fashion Scout’s talent discovery programme, identifying designers at transformative stages in their careers and providing the professional platform, visibility and industry access to take their next step. Across Fashion Scout’s wider alumni are names including Iris van Herpen, David Koma and Phoebe English, while Ones To Watch alumni include Eudon Choi, Susan Fang, Maximilian Raynor and Orange Culture.
EUDON CHOI
“19 years ago, I launched my label on courage alone. With no roadmap, I entered Fashion Scout’s Ones To Watch and landed a catwalk show during London Fashion Week. Winning the Merit Award soon after allowed me to present three consecutive solo seasons. I am forever grateful to Fashion Scout for believing in me, pushing me to evolve and standing by my side from day one.”
