FashionEVO Fashion Show & Awards at ACM 2025
This September at the Landmark Event Centre, FashionEVO presents a night where the runway and recognition walk hand in hand. The FashionEVO Fashion Show & Awards, a defining highlight of Africa Creative Market (ACM) 2025, will bring together breakthrough designers, cultural tastemakers, and industry leaders in a showcase that celebrates both creativity and impact.
The FashionEVO Fashion Show underscores that style is more than what we wear, it’s a passport to new markets, cultural visibility, and transformative opportunity. Expect collections that marry heritage craftsmanship with digital innovation alongside interactive moments like real time “Look of the Night” voting and instant designer access via QR codes.
In collaboration with Fashion Connect Africa (FCA), the evening will also spotlight a powerful mix of Ghanaian talent, alongside a highly anticipated lineup of some of the continent’s most exciting designers .
A marquee moment of the night will be the announcement of the top 3 winners of the Textile Design Competition, presented in partnership with Fabric Printing Global. With over 50 bold entries from students and emerging designers, the showcase celebrates fresh approaches to print, pattern, and purpose. The winning designs will be unveiled live on the stage, offering the creators a premier debut before buyers, ateliers, and international media, while signaling the next chapter of African textile innovation.
Designer showcases and award presentations will be interwoven throughout the evening, creating a seamless rhythm where fashion and recognition elevate one another. The result is a celebration of the African industry as it truly stands: creative, interconnected, and unstoppable.
The FashionEVO Awards will honour the visionaries shaping fashion, beauty, and style innovation today. From trailblazers to heritage guardians, ecosystem builders to masters of craft, each accolade reflects a commitment to excellence and impact across the industry.
Another highlight will be the unveiling of the winner of the FashionEVO Student Designer Competition 2025, hosted in collaboration with 360 Creative Hub. Open to students across Nigerian universities, polytechnics, and fashion schools, the competition invited young creatives aged 18–26 to interpret the theme Creative Bridge: Bridging Creativity, Community, and Commerce in Africa’s Fashion Future through original sketches. After weeks of submissions and deliberation, one rising talent will take the spotlight at the FashionEVO Fashion Show & Awards, marking an early milestone in their journey and offering a glimpse into the next wave of African design.
