Despite no longer being an active member of the royal family, Meghan Markle still opts for regal attire. In anticipation of Remembrance Day and Veteran’s Day, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry undertook various engagements with service members and veterans during their visit to San Diego. At a Navy SEAL opening event, the Duchess showcased an executive look reminiscent of her character on “Suits,” donning a sophisticated black tailored trouser suit from the esteemed Italian brand Giorgio Armani.

Her Mulberry tuxedo jacket, crafted from exquisite fine silk, features a single-breasted collar, a refined waist-cinching button, and a sleek lapel. Paired with matching silk palazzo trousers boasting a leg-lengthening, slightly flared silhouette and a high-waisted fit, Markle maintained her reputation for timeless fashion choices. As expected, she kept the ensemble elegantly simple, featuring a black camisole, black stilettos, diamond stud earrings, and a glossy low ponytail.

While meeting with U.S. veterans, Harry and Meghan paid tribute to the UK Armed Forces by wearing red poppies, the symbol of Remembrance Day, affixed to their jackets. During a visit to Camp Pendleton earlier in the day, Meghan sported a navy blue crew-neck cardigan designed by Carolina Herrera, adorned with delicate red and black poppy appliqués. Despite her California residence, Meghan’s choice of the poppy cardigan reflects her continued adherence to the royal tradition of dressing diplomatically and thoughtfully, selecting outfits infused with symbolism.
